How did BizSpokes.com Get Started?
My name is Derek Caldwell and I am the proud owner of this site intended to help out local small & medium businesses. This site came to exist from years of experience owning & operating a pressure washing company in Katy, Texas.
Let me explain…
I used to be in the corporate world for many years and suddenly found myself unemployed about 10 yrs ago. To bring in some money I created a small pressure washing company. Getting business was difficult so having some website design experience from some hobby sites of mine I created a site for my biz. I researched how to promote, use social media and became a “local expert” on getting business through organic search engine results and other online marketing techniques.
In summary, my phone started ringing. I was busy, busy, busy and very happy with the sales I was getting for the efforts I was putting into my biz.
Fast forward through many sweat filled days of cleaning houses in the hot Texas heat. One day it occurred to me why not make a living from home doing for other small businesses what I did for my business. My business was successful but I was ready for a change, really I just got tired of the hard work 
. Volia! The idea for this site was created.
I decided that it would be a very nice service to provide small companies trying to be successful in today’s world with a solid and cost effective marketing strategy and action plan for their business. With the help of some awesome outsource people from around the world and myself right here in Houston we have become experts in all of the tools needed for businesses such as yours to be successful on the internet. We take our expertise and put it in a packaged way that allows for other businesses to try it out.
I know had a site like this existed for my small business 5 years ago I would have jumped on the opportunity. So hopefully if you’re reading this you can find something that will benefit your biz. Thanks for stopping by.
